Sarah is not ZD-itzy

So...all of the kids seem to be out of Hogwarts now. Guess they were released for the summer a few days ago. And so begins my favorite time of year, keep the kids from touching things they shouldn't. But on the other hand, some of them also happen to be quite tiny and adorable, so it's not that bad. We even moved the thing into the back, just in case. Don't need anyone getting bit on accident!

So, for a lot of ridiclous reasons the flat didn't work out. But, the good news is Meadow Ridge was right there to pick up the pieces! I'm all moved in now and in the process of unpacking everything. I didn't realize how many things I had. Well, I didn't have a lot in the ZD house, but I guess mum got tired of looking at all of my stuff at their house and shipped it down here. That's okay, I found a lot fun things I'd forgotten about. Like this!

Eddie's completed one of the hardest programs that this school has to offer. Steve took home Rookie of the year. And Holly was robbed for beater of the year and the first place trophy! She played like a champ though in my eyes! Over all, I think it was an excellent week for our little family.

Also, it looks like I'll be staying on at Florae, but moving to full time rather than staying at part time. So you're not losing me quite yet Foxplain! And I also closed on a rather small cramped cozy little place in London so looks like I'll be moving there next week!

So tomorrow night, I've taken it upon myself to make a huge meal for anyone who wishes to show up at my parent's house. Even busting into mum's good china because it makes me feel better for her ditching me us.. Just let me know if you think you might want to show up, so I make sure that I have enough for everyone.

And this goes to family, friends, my sisters, work buddies, friends of my siblings, anyone who would like a home cooked meal and pleasant company for the evening.

Going to the Healers on Thursday for a check up on my arm from where that stupid thing bit me. It looks normal now, I guess they just want to make sure everything's in the clear? That and it gets kind of tingly sometimes...I'm sure it's nothing.

Debating the pros and cons of just murdering the fanged geranium. Bastard bit me hard on the arm today when I was tending to the primroses.

Okay ladies. Due to last night's incident of someone Suzanne sneaking back into house at 3am, we need to have a chat about this unacceptable behavior. It wasn't because you were being overly loud, or accidentally crashed into something breaking the vase of flowers that sits in the hallway. You can get back to sleep. Vases can be fixed. YOU however are irreplaceable!

HOWEVER. Your safety is NOT an option. I don't care what you were doing Suzanne, which I assume was drinking and partying because of the sheer amount of giggles and rambley and vastly inappropriate talk that was happening, that is unacceptable behavior. This isn't a game. This is serious. There are some very sick people out there doing terrible things! I will not have any more of my ladies go missing on my watch, and if you don't start shaping up, I'll start fining you as well. I'll remind you that I do posses that power. I might not be able to put you under hose arrest, but I can take away your fun money.

And that goes for the rest of you too, not just my girls. I might not be able to fine you, but the University can. It maybe be late coming, but you know what, after everyone complaining that they're not doing enough, they're finally doing something. But just because you don't like it doesn't mean that it's optional. It is for people's safety which is the most important thing right now.

Do you guys seriously have one of those days where you can't stop eating? I had a full lunch, and a good one too, and yet, an hour later, I'm craving snack food. This happens every once in a while and I'm doing my best not to over indulge myself, that would just not end up well for me. But, I might have to get some ice cream on my way home from work tonight. It's pruning day after all and with all the running around and with the potential injury thanks to it being spring and that means the Mandrakes are trying to get into each others pots, and the Firepalm and the Snowblue need to be moved to other ends of the greenhouse before they kill each other.

Has anyone seen Sandra lately? She was supposed to be here a while ago and she still hasn't shown up....anyone? Maybe I'm just jumping to conclusions because of recent events...she'll be here, she's just running late? Expect that she wouldn't, not for this.

This is insanity. I'm thinking a nice quiet dinner with the girls is in order. Perhaps tonight tomorrow night. Just so that I can see each and everyone of you in person and make sure that you're okay.

Somehow, my brain convinced me that today is Friday. I ended up being late for my class this morning because when my alarm went off I laid there for an extra hour convinced that I didn't have to be anywhere until I had to leave for work. Then I remembered I requested the weekend off. It was only after I had settled back into bed thinking I could get another hour or so in that I remembered that it was only Thursday and I pretty much bolted out of bed, changed as quickly as I could and bolted for class.

Hope everyone is ready to chase away those winter blues! Because the girls at Zeta Delta are throwing a Beach Party at our house! That's right, come one come all and enjoy the beachy goodness that I know all of you are missing right now!

Party starts at eight on Friday and show up in your best beach gear!

Well. I have to say that's one of the more terrifying interesting days at work. I didn't think anyone would ever have interest in robbing a place like Florae. I guess it's time to be thankful that no one was seriously hurt today. Perhaps we'll moved the fanged geranium to the front of the store now.

I think I need a long bath, a glass of wine, and perhaps and ice pack for my shin from where I smacked it against the counter when I went down.

So who wants to come and visit me at work today since we're deader than a lobster in butter sauce? Had a few customers this morning, and then somehow I got everything done I needed to in back done before lunch, so now I'm sitting here with nothing to do. If I had my needles maybe I could be a bit more productive, but somehow they didn't make it into my bag this morning. And I'm not sure where I left them. Oh well.

So. Please. Come and visit me! Save me from boredom! Or at least from reading the latest edition of Herbology Monthly for the fifth time! I can only read about Singing Gladiolas so many times before I go crazy.

Okay. People. For the last time. We do not buy Sarah high heels for presents. No matter how cute they are. Because then Sarah will feel obligated to wear said high heels. And then Sarah will fall, and then do something silly like break her ankle. Why? Not because I slipped and fell on some ice that I didn't see. Or because I was rough housing with my brothers. Oh no. Because Sarah cannot walk in heels. Period. I was walking across the living room and then BAM down I went.

I'm fine now. Really. Just a little tender from where the healers fixed it, and I'm sure that'll be gone by morning. Have I ever mentioned how much I love magical medicine? Because it's a whole lot right now. And I don't even have to take the day off of work. Though I really do wish Eddie would stop snickering and calling me a man.

Also. I'm fairly certain that the girls did not start this with "drunken shenanigans". My girls do not get into drunken shenanigans that would cause something like this. Our shenanigans are cheeky and fun. Those shenanigans would be cruel and tragic. Ass holes.

Guys. I think my mum is trying to turn me into a foodie, and I don't think I can resist any more.

She took me out to lunch and got me a marinated artichoke heart, turkey, spinach and gouda sandwich with rosemary potatoes on the side. Holy crap, I don't think I've ever had anything this yummy for lunch before. I didn't even know what the heck it was, but it was filling in all the best ways.

However, now I'm off to work where I will make an attempt to work off said lunch. For once I'm looking forward to lifting heavy pots and moving them around for the new display.

It's really quite amazing how one little thing can just brighten up an otherwise gloomy day. Between one final just nearly killing me (No, really, the Venomous Tentacula was a right bitch today, go figure), and then Josselyn was pretty much insisting on making my life a living hell at work, and no many times I dry my socks, they just won't stay dry.

But then I sold this beautiful daisy bush to this woman and her four year old picked out one of the flowers and gave it to me. It was really sweet and I put it in my hair and it was a nice little pick me up. So I think the rest of my ridiculously long shift won't be so bad. Probably. Hopefully.

Pretty dreary day. The on again-off-again drizzle kind of made it a pain to be outside all morning. Oh well. Now I'm back in the ZD house and waiting for Kelly to get out of the bathroom so I can change out of my damp clothing and take a shower in the process. But after all of that, I really have nothing to do until Chapter tonight. So, ELOISE ANDROMEDA LUPIN should let me know what she's doing because I miss her smiling face.
